The area: Business Development
The New Business Development group works with Product, Engineering and other teams on new product incubation and exploratory efforts, technology and meta-data licensing, strategic partnerships, urgent special projects, and alternative distribution for existing and new business initiatives. Our team consists of creative, entrepreneurial, highly organized leaders, well versed in a broad range of technologies, who can spot opportunities, evaluate inbound inquiries, build partnerships, collaborate with many internal functional groups globally, and negotiate and close business deals.
The role: Business Development Manager, Saudi Arabia
As the Business Development Manager for Saudi Arabia, you will have deep sales and business development experience, including developing and executing on the market strategy. The role will include determining the appropriate channel strategy, support model, requirements, target advertisers, and coordinating with functional teams to achieve desired goals. The primary focus will be on top-tier client, agency, and product development opportunities, as well as regional business development.
Responsibilities:
* Development and execution of the market strategy.
* Define the appropriate sales channel for all advertisers and build an advertising sales operations capability to provide premium service to Google's top advertisers.
* Build and maintain relations with key agencies and search engine marketers.
* Ensure successful new product launches.
* Build and develop partnerships that will grow the marketplace.
Requirements:
* University education perferred with a strong academic record. MBA a plus.
* Significant and extensive work experience in technology/advertising sales and business development.
* Experience in building strategic partnerships and track record of growing a market.
* Proven record of strategic development of Fortune 1000 client base.
* Well-known presence in and the knowledge of the Saudi Arabian online market.
* Ability to work in cross-functional teams at both the Pan-European and global level.
* Fluent Arabic and English.
